Dino Nite-Dino Mite! Camp-In at the Science Spectrum
Friday, May 9th – 6:00pm to Saturday, May 10th – 9:00am
Calling all South Plains area Girl Scouts! Do you love dinosaurs…? Well, get ready for a “roaring” good time by spending the night at the Science Spectrum Museum with your Troop at the dinosaur themed over-nighter (Camp-In), Dino Nite-Dino Mite! You’ll get to tour the all new Expedition Dinosaur traveling exhibit, see the OMNI Theater film Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia, take in an educational live animal show featuring several modern day reptiles and amphibians, get free time in the Science Spectrum museum, as well as participate in Troop led activities and games and then sleep with your friends in the museum.
All participants should plan to eat dinner before arriving on Friday. A light continental breakfast will be served to all participants Saturday morning. Popcorn and drink will be provided to all participants during the OMNI film.
*Troop Leader or a Troop representative must also be registered and attend. Registration of individual Girls Scouts without Troop leadership will not be accepted. Parent chaperones attending must register and be authorized by Troop Leadership to attend.
